Course Overview
The aim of this Marine Department approved course is to provide refresher training on firefighting, personal survival techniques and survival crafts.
The course meets the mandatory refresher training in accordance with Chapter VI, Sections A-VI/1 Pa.3, A-VI/2 Pa.5 & A-VI/3 Pa.5 of the STCW Code.
This is an approved course under the MATF. Successful applicants will be refunded 80% of the fees for completing pre-approved courses / examinations. For more information, please refer to MATF's website http://www.matf.gov.hk/

Important Note
Seafarers qualified in basic training shall be required every five years, to provide evidence of having maintained competence, to undertake the tasks, duties and responsibilities listed in tables A-VI/1-1 and A-VI/1-2 of the STCW Code.
