Course Overview

The aim of this Marine Department approved course is to provide learners with both theoretical and practical training on first aid knowledge required at sea. This course meets the mandatory basic safety training requirement - elementary first aid as set out in table A-VI/1-3 and medical first aid and medical care in section A-VI/4 of the STCW Code. It is designed for seamen who are responsible for medical service and first aid on board, and it is also suitable for other maritime service practitioners.
