Course Overview
The aim of this Marine Department approved course is to meet the mandatory
basic safety training requirement - minimum standard of competence for seafarers with designated security duties as set out in table A-VI/6-2 of the STCW Code.
The course includes the theory and practical security training for seafarers with designated security duties on board as required by the STCW (2010) VI / 6 amendment.
This is an approved course under the MATF. Successful applicants will be refunded 80% of the fees for completing pre-approved courses / examinations. For more information, please refer to MATF's website http://www.matf.gov.hk/
