Course Overview
The aim of this Marine Department approved course is to uplift the safety standard of local craft ratings.
This course provides students with basic knowledge to act as assistant navigational watch-keepers on local crafts.
It is one of the approved training courses for Local Vessel Trade Training Incentive Scheme (LVTTIS) under the Maritime and Aviation Training Fund launched by the Transport and Housing Bureau. On successful completion of this programme, trainees who are eligible to apply for the fund may get not more than $30,000 incentive and examination fee refund.
