Security Training for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties course is intended to provide the knowledge required for seafarers employed or engaged in any capacity on board a ship to comply with the provisions of the ISPS Code on the business of that ship as part of the ship’s complement with designated security duties, including anti-piracy and anti-armed-robbery-related activities This course met the mandatory minimum requirements for knowledge, understanding and proficiency stated in Table A‐VI/6‐2 of STCW Code 2010.
