Certificate in Junior General Purpose Ratings Programme

• - Any Hong Kong permanent residents who have completed Secondary 3 or above and aged above 16.5 are eligible to apply for this programme
• - The admission period is year round
• - Applicants must pass an interview, simple eye sight and colour blindness tests

Part-time Day/Evening Courses

• - The admission period is year round
• - Application forms can be downloaded from this website or obtained from the Maritime Services Training Institute office directly.
• - Bring your completed application form, Seafarer´s Employment Registration Book or its equivalent document, Hong Kong Identity Card, two recent passport photographs and medical certificate (if applicable) to apply in person
• - All applicants must attend an interview
