Course Overview
The aim of this Marine Department approved course is to provide the necessary skills and knowledge for seafarers designated to take charge of medical care on board ship and for those requiring certificates of competency.
This course includes both theoretical and practical training for designated officers in charge of medical care on board sea-going vessels as set out in table A-VI/4-3 of the STCW Code.
This is an approved course under the MATF. Successful applicants will be refunded 80% of the fees for completing pre-approved courses / examinations. For more information, please refer to MATF's website http://www.matf.gov.hk/
