Course Overview
The aim of this Marine Department approved course is to introduce the theory of security awareness training for all seafarers.
The course meets the mandatory
basic safety training requirement - minimum standard of competence in security awareness as set out in table A-VI/6-1 of the STCW Code.
This is an approved course under the MATF. Successful applicants will be refunded 80% of the fees for completing pre-approved courses / examinations. For more information, please refer to MATF's website http://www.matf.gov.hk/
